Cotswold League 2010

I am pleased to say we will again be competing in the Cotswold League event this season. However, due to a change in League Rules swimmers who competed in the National Speedo League in 2008 in either individual or relay events will not be allowed to swim.

Competition Dates are as follows:

• Round 1 - 23/01/10 @ Bridgwater  Results
• Round 2 - 13/02/10 @ Home Teamsheet
  
• Round 3 - 20/03/10 @ Bristol Penguin
• Round 4 - 24/04/10 @ Brockworth
• Final - 08/05/10 tba.

Swimmers will be selected normally on the CSWPC Rankings available to me at the time. I will be putting the Team Sheet on the notice board a tL@C two weeks before the event so please make sure you check the board regularly.  IF SELECTED PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU ARE AVAILABLE TO COMPETE AND REPRESENT OUR CLUB!!

Swimmers travel to away galas by coach, normally departing/arriving at L@C.  You are encouraged to travel with the team, it is noisy, and helps build the team spirit!.

Swimmers are expected to have team coloured swim kit, plus club shirt and hat.  Also advisable are poolside shoes, towels and food/drink to keep you going on the journey home.

Parents can also travel on the bus with the swimmers if there is room.  Swimmers and parents will be charged for the bus.  Please give phone contact details to the organiser so that you can be notified of return time.

Please be aware that some venues do not offer the same levels of spectating found at L@C!
